Lynch, Gus

Consulting detective and retired Scotland Yard inspector.

Detective Inspector Augustus “Gus” Lynch (Retired)

(b. 1826)

Retired after a very successful career as a Metropolitan Police Inspector, Gus Lynch now offers his services as a consulting detective from his humble residence at 221B Baker Street. His exploits as a policeman are legendary in some circles, especially his ultimately unsuccessful attempts to bring down the (alleged) criminal ring of Robert Goode, known about Scotland Yard as the “Napoleon of Crime.”
